Most of the Elves seen in the comic have been Clerics, though one of the Elven competitors in the PVP Tounament was a Dark Knight.

Wild Guessing: Due to the apparent abundance of Elven Clerics, I suspect that Elves have a larger Mana Pool than most other races. This would make them well suited for the Cleric Class, a class which, if other MMORPG's are anything to go by, typically provides constant support to their allies using both buff and healing spells and uses more Mana than pretty much any other class.
